Mikey Spitz™, a.k.a. Deez, was born and raised in Philadelphia and has lived there his entire life. He found his love for rapping by listening to rap and hip-hop at an early age and began writing his own lyrics to songs soon thereafter.

Always discreet, Mike kept his talent hidden from most until he felt like he was ready to prove that he could compete. Anything that could be scribbled on became a medium for Spitz's genius. From napkins to timesheet books, Spitz laid his lyrics down, but had no beats of his own to go along with what he was writing. Using beats from other artists proved to be good practice for Spitz, but in the long run he knew that he'd need his own music.

Enter producer Odin Smith who heard about Spitz through a mutual friend and emcee named Postal. Smith wanted to hear what Spitz sounded like, so he gave him one of his own beats to work with. A few days later, Spitz delivered a full three verse song and hook, the song....Real Muzik. Since then Odin Smith has been producing Mikey Spitz and is his current producer. Mike has since recorded multiple tracks with Odin and has been featured on tracks with other great emcees such as: Postal, Fade, Has-Lo, Atun Sen Geb (from The Lost Children of Babylon) and vows to release plenty more tracks as long as people have ears to listen.
